Toy Donation Drop Off

Spring toy donation drop off to the children's hospital! The Power of Play was able to donate over 1,000 play items!

Donation from Riverton City Police

The Riverton City Police Department so generously donated over 150 Star Belly Unicorn Stuffies to the Power of Play for Hospitalized Children!

Seacrest Studios/Children's Hospital Visit 
Slime Time

Miss Utah Sarah Sun & Paris Miss Panoramaland were able to implement the true Power of Play through their broadcast of Slime Time in Seacresst Studios. They were able to make slime with patients & Sarah played some amazing piano medleys. 

Book Release "Mabel's Hospital Adventure"

Mabel's Hospital Adventure features a young girl who is suddenly diagnosed with appendicitis in the Emergency Department. Mabel meets a child life specialist who educates her about the hospital and provides play opportunities to make something scary-easier! 

April Amazon Wishlist Donations

Community Craft Kits
We partnered with a religious group to create over 300 craft kits for hospitalized children!
March Toy Drive
We partnered with Millcreek Library throughout the month of March! During the month long toy drive, we collected over 200 one time use items to be utilized for play at the hospital!
Valentine's Toy Drive
We partnered with 4 libraries in Salt Lake County throughout the month of February! During the two week toy drives, we collected over a thousand one time use items to be utilized for play at the hospital!

Primary Children's Hospital Drop Off
We were able to drop off the collected items to PCH. The day after that I donated the items, I was working in Same Day Surgery and saw the blanket I tied with elementary schoolers during a service project on a patient's bed outside the OR who had emergent surgery. It w3as such a surreal moment to see these items I've collected within the community benefit kids full circle. 

Elementary Service Project
We tied blankets with students at an elementary advocating for the Power of Play and comfort items in the hospital. Many students shared their own experiences receiving a blanket and how it impacted their coping positively!

Fleece Blanket Drive 
We collected over 200 blankets to be tied and donated to hospitalized kids! We even got to make it a service project with elementary schoolers to teach them about the Power of Play! 

Miss Utah x Miss North Ogden Primary Children's Visit 
Miss North Ogden & Miss Utah hosted Bingo and a playroom visit promoting play in the hospital. Kids did crown and sash crafts and princess slime! 

March Craft Donations 
We collected over 1,000 craft packs of unicorns, four leaf clovers, and dragonfly's for younger school aged kids to do in the hospital!   

Valentine's Library Drive 

​We raised over $200 for play items and had over 200 coloring books, playdough, and hot wheels donated! 

Power of Play x Pleasant View YCC 

We raised over $300 for play items and had over 500 toys donated!
